38. If you find yourself anywhere near Oxford, MS
do yourself a favor and go there. Oxford is the home of the University of Mississippi (aka Ole Miss) and of William Faulkner. His home is open to the public for free tours and his grave is easy to find, if you're into that sort of thing.

Oxford is also one of the loveliest towns in America and the people will treat you right.

If you go, make sure to visit Square Books, one of best independent bookstores on the planet!
