Any tree experts out there??? Red Bud tree dying
Advertisements [?]

This photo was from last spring, I think it is a Red Bud tree. I was cutting down a large dead tree behind this one yesterday and noticed severe damage to the redbud tree. The main trunk of the redbud looks dead on the inside and there is definte termite activity in the tree.

I would like to take cuttings from the redbud and plant a few around the property before this one dies on me. I have done some plant "cloning" before, is it the same procedure for a tree?

I really love the vivid color this tree has in the early spring, it really is beautiful.

  - It may be a wild Dogwood rather than a redbud..  wolfgirl   Dec-31-04 05:20 PM   #1
