YES!! Just landed a promotion in my company!

I moved from taking customer service calls and assisting in genealogy research to writing and editing the website (www.ancestry.com).

DREAM.JOB.

The stinkers interviewed my last week, told me that they would make a decision on Monday. Well, Tuesday rolled on by, and this morning I wrote a short note thanking my interviewer for the opportunity, acknowledging that I was aware that I probably didn't get the job, and asking them to give me some feedback on my writing and interviewing skills.

The immediately called me back with a job offer - starting Monday.

This will certainly make my Thanksgiving a special occasion.
