111. Me? Athletic? Lord, no!
I think I still hold the high school gym class record for getting hit in the face with a basketball.

I used to bowl a lot when I was younger, but haven't recently, and was on a softball team for a year or two, but that's about it. I was never really athletic (or thin, for that matter). I played ultimate a couple of times in college, and loved it, but didn't discover any organized ultimate groups until I was about 30, and played until I hurt my leg.

I don't mind team sports, as long as they're not too competetive (I play for fun, not necessarily to win) -- but too many people around here like their sports to be "intense", and that tends to turn me off. (Some of the ultimate folks were too intense, IMO, so I just stuck with pick-up groups and avoided the leagues.)

I've got a doctor's appointment coming up this week -- general physical, which I haven't had in over five years (and I've NEVER had an EKG before), so I might try to get on some kind of exercise plan based on the results of the physical.

I like the idea of just starting out walking. I guess I need to start getting up earlier in the morning.
