you have my deepest sympathies... I yelled out in pain when I cracked mine - the only time I ever reacted to pain like that and I survived a head-on collision with 2 broken legs!!!

My advice.. get one of those donut cushions for sitting. Use it everywhere even if the chair you're sitting on is soft.

Heating pads or hot baths or jacuzzi etc.. to keep the muscles around it from tensing up even worse. The heat helped me..not ice.

take tylenol or similar when needed.

sit down and stand up slowly and don't start walking until you're all straightened out and ready to go.


It's going to take a couple months to really get better, but you should feel some relief after a couple weeks.
