40. Katherine Kerr's 'Deverry' series is pretty voluminous
I think I've read about twelve of them; the thirteenth was not yet out last time I checked.

They're not great, in my opinion. It's a little soap-operaish and the plots, especially in the later ones, tend to get a little lame. But I do like her style of writing, as it flows easy and she has a gift of making it seem significantly more real than the crap churned out by most modern day fantasy writers (like robert jordan :puke: ).
