2. It makes you a person with taste.
"Aqua Teen" took a while to grow on me - and I'm a cartoon fan - but the characters are wonderfully goofy, while maintaining their integrity. You come to know what egotistical, stupid thing Master Shake is going to do, and you love him for it.

On the other hand, "Family Guy" is the most contemptible thing I've ever seen. An assortment of rimshot jokes, a "family" that keeps snarling at one another, and that nauseating Child of Satan named Stewie...

How about the anime? Even though it's run through every episode of the series, I can't turn away from "Cowboy Bebop." It's a story that grows with each retelling. A pity the show has a definitive end, and the theatrical movie's "prequel" story didn't work.
