...would go to a nearby Denny's (where we'd usually WAY overtip
after watching people like the ones we had been "facilitating" treat
the waitstaff like dirt -- we surmised because they didn't have any
procreative "success" that night (let alone all other nights).

I liked their salads (lotsa Thousand Island/lotsa croutons) and their
hash browns (extra butter on the grill/extra cheese) -- but you're
right -- the majority of their food was mainly good only for the
non-choosy among the early-bird special crowd -- or the hammered
horde.
