Their jobs are not easy and it's shocking how inconsiderate people are to them. Either that or they never acknowledge their humanity or decency. It's shameful to watch. Without janitors at my job we would be run over with filth and garbage in no time with their accompanying rats and cockroaches and mold.

I make a point of knowing what their names are and to smile and ask them how they're doing. And they always reciprocate.
