18. Hand shake....

I will attempt to explain why I got so upset.

I was not trying to single you out. If you have followed my posts over the past year or so, you may have noticed that I tend to get upset whenever diseases are mocked or otherwise used as a vehicle for humor in a forum such as this. Being ill myself, I tend to be sensitive to this. It is tough on the internet when it comes to these types of things, because words are flat, and "joking" or "kidding" emotions are difficult to convey.

As fate would have it, it was indeed my cousin who passed away from the Parkinson's. He had suffered for many years with it, and he had many other health problems. He lived alone, and he choked while laying in bed. I had just read his obituary the day before, and I was still reeling from it when I expressed my objection to your post.

I want you to know that I was not targeting you and looking for something to complain about.

I regret that we got into a disagreement over this.

I'm having a bit of insomnia, and just woke up...will try to get back to bed soon.

Have a good night/morning DS1.
