17. Yeah, 1969 was probably the best ever year for rock.
The Who, The Band, The Stones, The Beatles, Zappa put out FOUR albums that year (all of them brilliant), Captain Beefheart's "Trout MAsk Replica," Black Sabbath was just forming, all sorts of great obscure stuff just beubbling under the surface, like Josefus....Elvis's "Kentucky Rain," Jesus, I could go on and on....
