Thanks so much to all of you who have offered me support, advice, and positive energy during this loooooong interview process.

I will be leaving my office early today and going to my 3rd and final interview. As many of you know, it's between me and 1 other candidate. I can tell the Executive Director really likes me, but I don't think I impressed the rest of the Senior Staff. Today I will meet a Regional VP.

I want this job very much because:

It is a vertical move in my field.

It pays well enough that we would actually just be able to pay our bills without juggling, AND SAVE!

I believe in the mission of the organization and think they do important work in my neighborhood.

They are in my neighborhood, so I would be able to walk to work, and have lunches with my son.

Again, they are less than 5 minutes away, so I can work full-time and spend more time with my family at the same time. This is really a key point, because no one else out there can offer this. There are no other non-profits right next door. If I don't get this job, that perk is irreplaceable. And it means so much to my family, because they need me, and they need me to bring in more money at the same time.

The interview is at 2 pm. I'll be leaving my office at 1, and hope to shake this place off of me before I get there.

So, please, if you remember, at around 2 pm, can you please send some of your famous vibes?

Thanks again for putting up with all my job-hunt threads. I hope soon I will be posting about how much I love my new job!

:)
