5. bored at work while working for Wal~Mart
I worked for the Evil place one summer many years ago.

I had been the night watch man for a stint and then got moved to days and inside, which I guess was cool.

So there I am in my first week, learning to use the phones etc and a call comes in. I answered all sicky sweat and all, found out what the person was looking for, some other department. SO I went to place them on hold. Well, of course I hot the wrong button and the little light that showed the line they were on went dark. In my frustration I uttered that phrase so popular among us Americans, "Oh SHIT!" right into the hand set of the phone. Realizing just as it escaped my mouth that the button I had pushed had in fact been the store intercom and EVERY SINGLE FUCKING person in that store heard my lament.

Ahhhh ... the mayhem that ensued. I never did come clean and the speculation ran for days as to who did it and what would be done when found out. Noone was ever actualy accused let alone reprimanded.

Ahhh,

Zizzer
