He was the last of a puppy litter at my former next door neighbors. They treated his mother well enough, but one day I saw the guy kick this "teenage" pup and I knew I just had to have him. I couldn't really afford a dog at the time, but I've never regretted having Pete.
 So YES!!!! Get a dog! And consider getting one that will appreciate your loving home because they've already known what it's like not to be loved. |
