Grounding your tinfoil hat via a copper rod driven into the earth is actually making a network connection to Internet II--the Knights of Columbus-operated surveillance web that Bush alluded to when he said "internets" during the presidential debates. This connection makes it possible for the pyramid located in the earth's core (built by Procter & Gamble at the turn of the century) to track your thoughts. Further, this pyramid was constructed with Martian lumber, a 2x4 of which was recently captured on film.
