What is your all time favorite film?

My favorite is The World According to Garp and somehow I actually got to sit down and watch the whole thing this afternoon. I don't even own it or have it, but it was on HBO. I've probably seen it 20 times but it's one of the rare, truly human films with everything- love, death, marriage, adultery, children, sex, feminism and gender roles, and politics all interwoven into a beautiful fabric that never fails to make me laugh and really, really cry (especially with the Walt thing to those who know the story). It's been my favorite for years, even in my teens and before I experienced quite as much life myself.

Then there's the music used. The Beatles of course and this particular Nat 'King' Cole song was used within the movie and was the end theme as well. Even the song has a certain melancholy element to it:
