6. When I was a punky teenager
I quoted at my grandmother, to justify some selfishness, "to thine own self be true"

Her comeback was the rest of the quotes "and it shall follow as the night the day thou canst be false to no man."

Although my parents, and especially my father brought me up to respect myself and value my honour, this was the icing on the cake, so to speak.

If anything I now think about, "on the other hand", a little too much and how my actions affect others (never too much).
