13. I was here at DU mostly, that day ...
Glued to the LBN forum. I found out what happened when I went to my volunteer slot at a local animal shelter; I put in my two hours and came home and immediately signed on DU.

You know who made me feel the most like the world was back on its axis again? Peter Jennings. He was asking tough questions that day, unlike most of the rest. He was the only one I heard anybody mention, later, had the nerve to ask something along the lines of 'where the hell is the President? Last I heard he was flying west from Florida -- where is he?' That and the hundred times I'd already read it from people here at DU at least made me feel like I wasn't alone in wondering.
