10. Western nations are allowed somewhat more autonomy

It is to an extent, a matter of degree. Although it would be hard to name a pie in which the regime does not have a finger, the US keeps the developing world, especiallly those parts that are rich in natural resources that generate considerable revenue for US business interests, on a very short leash.

Are there racists in the Middle East, Latin America, Asia? Of course!

But the primary reason for the increasing number of people around the world who are not enthusiastic supporters of US policy has more to do with the commensurately increasing number of people whose lives have been impacted negatively by those policies, and their awareness of it, and racism is secondary.

As the world transistions through the inevitable twilight of the brief flame of European pre-eminence, there is an increasing desperation on the part of the west to rage against the dying of the light, both geopolitically and genetically, and greed is the most powerful force on earth, all parts of it!
