she WOULD get trounced, make no bones about it, AND she would doubtless overshadow whomever chose her as running mate!!! the vast majority of people don't understand what a boon the clinton administration was and they DON"T LIKE THE CLINTONS and PREFER THE BUSH DYNASTY because THE CLINTONS did not prop themselves up over the rest of AMerica. They were perceived as opportunists, shrewd, cunning, politcally savvy, unrespectable. The Bush clan, on the other hand, at least held itself to an entirely different moral standard, thereby distinguishing itself from "the rabble" and the rest of the political mainstream.

you see, those who didn't like Gore in 2000 didn't like him because his victory was not seen as OUR victory. the same goes for Hillary, I'm afraid.
