12. Why would Paul Gigot not want a Democratic disaster?
The one thing we must have learned from the Bush years is that Democrats are easily freightened.

So why would Republicans try to disuade us from an 'electoral disaster'? Paul Gigot is clearly a Republican. The most conservative type of Republican.

So wouldn't he be happy?

I really hate these types of posts. They serve no purpose. When the Republicans start giving Democrats advice on who they should or shouldn't nominate, I begin to wonder.

When Democrats begin to listen. I start to sweat.

I have my own problems with Dean. But they have nothing to do with his 'electability.'

You see the media/GOP are used to pushing around Democrats. They're used to Democrats taking it and degrading themselves. Dean won't accept that. He believes, what he believes. No matter what, I will always give him that. That's why the GOP don't want him to be the nominee. He won't fall into line.

What will happen if Kerry is nominated:

Kerry: President has run a bad economy.

Bush/GOP: No we haven't it was Bill Clinton's fault. This is you being negative. Democrats can only be negative. You are a liberal...blah, blah, blah.

Kerry: Maybe you're right. But I think Democrats and Republicans should do better.

End of election. Bush wins

Lieberman: President has run a bad economy.

Bush/GOP: No we haven't it was Bill Clinton's fault. This is you being negative. Democrats can only be negative. You are a liberal...blah, blah, blah.

Lieberman: Maybe you're right. But I think Democrats and Republicans should do better.

Any other candidate (with the exception of Clark)

Dem: What about the war?

Bush/GOP: What about it? You supported the war didn't you? Playing politics with the lives of US soldiers?

Dem: Maybe you're right. But I think Democrats and Republicans should do better.

Howard Dean: This President has run the economy into the ground. Got us involved in a foreign policy nightmare.

Bush/GOP: You're too liberal. You have no credibility.

Dean: Did you serve in the military Mr. President? What war did you ever fight in?

Dean has the ability to fight back. He also doesn't have one major obsticle that nearly every other candidate has. The Washington wing (Kerry, Lieberman, and Gepthardt) all want to be accepted by the Sally Quinn's of Washington. They want to be accepted at the Georgetown Cocktail parties. That's why they fall in line.

Washington is like High School. With the cool cliques. Dean couldn't care less. He wants to be President of the people.

This is the reason I have always said that my support will go to Wesley Clark or Howard Dean. Clark fits this mold too. That's why these are the two candidates that the GOP fear the most.

Lately, i've been leaning towards Clark. But these types of posts are just stupid.
