Contacting reps can be a blackhole, but at the very least someone like Gen. Clark ought to be in a position to know which angles to work. Plus, he has the benefit of some small amount of media time, to get word out to the anaesthesized masses. If the account in the original post is typical, then he has a direct interest in making this a campaign issue.

Gen. Clark has experience running reconstruction occupations. I'd think he could shed some very precise light on this, given the opportunity.
