upset because they WANTED lying spin - that the French riots were caused by the Muslim religion of the rioters - but that because of the phone call from the Saudi friend of Murdoch's, this lie was quashed. Sort of an anti-Fox moment, and the AIMs were missing their dose of hate Kool-Aid. An oversimplification, of couse, but that seems to be the center of it.

But he could as easily have called as the White House does, to plant or twist a story for propaganda or suppression of the truth. Money and influence determines the "news" - and thus the control of the people who hear it.
