37. The consumer society is a blight
I feel insulted whenever I hear news reports that group us into consumers. I am not a consumer. I have unique qualities and gifts as do you and everyone else I would contend.

Or everyone could have these talents if they weren't raised to be robotic producer-consumers.

On another level the planet would implode overnight if the world's population attained the level of "wealth" that is considered even lower-middle class America.

We must change our ways and learn to get by with less so that the next generation will have endowments for their survival.

Wal-Mart is the poster child for the doomsday economy.
