John Edwards admits authorizing the president to attack Iraq was a mistake

Did anybody go to see Edwards speak at NKU tonight?

There was a Q&A where Edwards was asked whether he thinks the US should pull out of Iraq.

He began by saying that voting for the Iraq war was a mistake.

He was then interrupted by thunderous applause!

I don't know if there is an article yet. I'll look. But I heard him say that!

This is what we need. The dems to say this war was wrong from the beginning!

Another interesting little tidbit. Steve Forbes was there, with the usual RW talking points. One was that Iraq is progressing well, experiencing prosperity.

He said that they are experiencing a "boom" in their economy.

I thought to myself "Yea, there certainly are a lot of booms in Iraq"
