133. I met Hackett very early on....maybe before his
handlers told him what to say and what not to say later on in the campaign. I'm not sure. But he wasn't speaking any truth to power during the primary. I felt I got a 'true' look at him. And I have to admit, my gut reaction was negative....I went to hear him again and it was worse the second time. I am sure everyone out there has had negative reactions to people....I have to go with my gut reaction.

Correct me if I am wrong...but the 'chickenhawk' statement was very late in the campaign, right? On Ed Schultz?

Hey, I want DeWine defeated more than the next person. But I do now understand the meaning of the saying, 'Hold your nose and vote for him.'

I believe Sherrod Brown would have a better chance of defeating DeWine. He has more experience. I would like to see Hackett run against Mean Jean (or someone else if she is defeated in the primary) because he has the name recognition and reputation in the 2nd District. He is not known outside of Southwestern Ohio.
