What if 15 women came out and accused a democrat candidate of groping them

If that was Gray Davis or Cruz Bustamente who had groped and sexually harassed 15 women, the repukes would be all of this and trying to get either of these candidates out of office and in a courtroom for their sins.

Heck, we saw it with Bill Clinton even though Monica was consenting, Gennifer Flowers was a liar (having sex in a hotel that wasn't even built yet, but again she said it was consenting) and I'm still not convinced with Paula Jones.

What I see is major double standards when it comes to illicit sexual behavior and our elected politicians. If only 2-3 women came out and accused Arnold of sexual misconduct I would say that it was a publicity stunt. But the list is up to 15 which leads me to believe that Arnold is a pervert that should be reprimended for his actions, not elected as governor in this farce of an election. To me it's apparent everytime I see Maria Shriver (Arnold's wife) these days - she's gaunt and frowning, probably from years of putting up with her husband's boorish behavior.

The polls are showing that Californian's could be coming around and recognizing this election as a farce - some polls show that Davis could pull this one off.

But if California decides they want Arnold as their governor, then I feel sorry for those who tried to prevent this from happening and angry and those who think this beefcake can actually be a governor. California fairly elected a governor in 2002 who only 'crime' he has committed these past months was trying to deal with a horrible budget that to be honest was brought on by the Bush administrations failure to stop the Energy Companies (Bush's campaign funders) from bilking California over their poorly written energy bill.

What I find most odd is Bush's 'hands off' approach with the California Recall. You'd think a guy who had a chance to give California a Republican Governor and possibly help him win CA's 55 electorial votes has pretty much kept mum about the recall election. Maybe George realizes that it was his policies that put California in the budget crisis it has. Maybe Bush realizes that the Republicans are to blame for this circus and he doesn't need anything else to make his reputation any worse in our most populated state. Or maybe Bush doesn't want to alienate the religious right for supporting a republican candiate that could win but is pro-choice/pro-gay/pro-groping.

I pray constantly that Californians will come to our senses and allow Gray Davis to finish the term he was fairly elected to do. But my prayers may not be as strong as the will of lazy voters who can't be bothered to vote in regular elections but are thrilled to vote in this one so they could feasibly have "The Last Action Hero" as their governor.

And if Arnold prevails, I hope democrats do the right thing and 'recall the recall'. It's very feasible that Gray Davis may fall just shy of the 51% he needs to stay governor AND that the possible winner can become governor with far less than 51% of the votes. If this happens, our best choice is to recall the recall.

Hopefully everyone will get out to the polls today in California and stop this farce. Davis fairly earned the right to be governor; Republicans should try harder next regular elections.
