14. This is the kind of crap...

...that pisses me off about some of my evangelical buddies.

To clear up some things, the Evangelical camp is akin to a circus tent. Pat Robertson and some of these other churches espousing political beliefs from the pulpit are off over near the bearded lady. Honest churches are over near the trapeeze and human cannonball.

The German theologian Karl Barth said it perfectly when he stated that God says "No" to our efforts to reach him on our terms, so when a political party declairs that God is on their side, it should be considered that maybe, God isn't.
