Supporting our troops is something I think we all can agree is a positive and even noble cause. It is a notion however that loses all nobility in the context of setting it up as a kind of opposition rally to a woman who has made the ultimate sacrifice in the loss of her soldier son.

Perhaps the event could be scheduled for some other time when it will not be used by those who would seek to disparage a woman who has buried one of our fallen troops.
