WHY DID HILLARY CLINTON OPPOSE CAFTA?
Advertisements [?]
I am surprised and confused that Senator Clinton opposed CAFTA. I am glad she did but the Clinton's have historically been pro free trade. Even Jimmy Carter supported CAFTA. Do you think this was all because of 08 and Hillaryt rying to keep friends on both the left and the centrist wing of our party? I have read a few articles stating that CAFTA would actually help the farmers in NY so I am just having trouble understanding why Hillary- a politicians politician would oppose it.
