as unindicted co-conspirators with a reserve option to bring charges should evidence prepared for the indicted's trials warrant it. There is also the appearance of impropriety that is as debilitating politically as being charged.

Complete exoneration would be bush/cheney's goal because this would be about their legacy and history. It would go into the first paragraph of any book, story or obituary about their overall administration. It is a powerful incentive to try and staunch being named even as an unindicted co-conspirator.

That is going to depend on any charges brought against their underlings that would cause them to shorten any potential sentences or get immunity by bringing the current occupants of the presidency and vice presidency into this. They have to be quite concerened (:scared:)these days at 1600. It is obvious they have lost any ability to manage this and applied the same adroit management skills and inept people thay have used in managing the war on terra. Oh, the irony...:popcorn:
