its more fun to rally people into the persecution complex, so they can go around holding up pictures of aborted fetuses and "Paul Hill is a hero" signs.

Also, it gives them a sense of moral superority, which fundies thrive on.

So what if I cheated on my first husband with my second husband, then cheated on him and married his cousin's friend? And who cares that I have five kids that I leave at home unsupervised while I go to the bar.

At least I have Jesus, and at least I haven't had an abortion!
