Heavy heavy violent tribal group think. Lots of Military, football, fundamentalist, arch-conservativisms of every type flourishing in testosterone fueled vigor...I can't imagine anyone with humanist values enduring it for any period of time. I was there for two days and I'm still recovering from the willies. You have my sympathy as an abuse survivor, sweetheart. I do understand. One is tempted to say something like, 'forgive them for they know not what they do...except the bastards who do and enjoy it!'
