469. It's been my experience...
that those who talk the loudest and are all too ready to sacrifice other people's children for war are the biggest chicken shits when it comes to fighting them.
The freeps talk a good game, but a majority have never tasted battle, never lost a family member or good friend, seen a man killed before their eyes and have or know someone with deep rooted psychological damage from the ravages of war. Those are the most sobering aspects of battle and until you experience them you're hardly qualified to bang the drums of war.
My Dad used to tell me, "an empty drum makes the most noise" and in the case of war at least, he was 100% correct.
My hat is off to ALL veterans this weekend, no matter what their political persuasion, and let's all vow to never send another soldier into war needlessly. A human life for a tank of gas is NOT a good deal.
