6. I loved the first three.
The last two were unmemorable for me.

My favorite is still the original (which I saw when I was ten), with Return of the Jedi a close second. I'm looking forward to this one because it will set up the original and complete the cycle.

I also hope people draw at least subliminal or subconscious connections with it's themes and our current political climate.
