England) were not, and are not conservatives. They are ideologues, which conservatism is profoundly against.

However being resistant to change has its downsides.

Slavery, race equality, class equality, gender equality, democratic reform, lynchings, death penalty, pennicilin (bit of a joke that one ha ha ha).

We need a new term, mixing the best of conservatism and the best of liberal and weeding out the discrepancies.

Liberacon? liberocon? Real con? liberalconservative? liberaloldcon? bestbitsofbothliberalandconservativeviewpoints?

We must always have the initiative over these fascists. Claim words and concepts back from them. Expose them for what they are. They have a monopoly on the dissemination of information, we must challenge that.
