used to try to starve themselves in order to starve the embryo into death.

I would tell them no, YOU will suffer first. The body is designed to funnel every single scrap of nutrition to the embryo. BUT a lack of nutrition will simply end in the birth of an unhealthy baby, not a miscarriage.

And they did other crazy things, too. THis was in the 90s, not the 60s! They had ACCESS to abortions and did stuff like that! Imagine if that access were gone completely. Whew.
