(As an aside, I'm sure everyone here is aware of this, but having spent some time in Saudi Arabia -- it's very common for men who are friends to walk around holding hands, but let a woman and a man hold hands in public, and it's "chop-chop" time!)

That said, if a Democratic president had been photographed doing this, especially now, all the wingnuts who froth over what this Democrat has said, and what that Democrat has said, would be wetting their pants in their fervor to get their shots in.

Can you imagine what Ann Coulter would say if Kerry were in the pic instead of Bush?
