...National Convention. I'd love to see the next DNC in Florida, especially Orlando, it would be a tonic after all of the seedy republican pollution that has invaded our state during the last twelve years.

Now, the convention center has over 2.1 million square feet of meeting space and assembly halls. Plus we have over 105,000 1st class hotel rooms within 15 minutes of the convention facility. It would make a great place for a political statement. We also have a number of major hotel projects on the drawing boards and in different stages of development totaling another 30,000 rooms. A commitment on a major political convention here in Orlando, would kick all of those projects off to a flying start. Our airport is a major piece of work also, rivaling the top airports in the country for incoming and outgoing traffic. Not to mention all of the theme parks and play activities. It's a great destination for business and fun.
