11. Changes in the Tax Code Might Sometimes Create or Retain Jobs
The Bush approach, which began with the historically low Clinton-era marginal tax rates, does little to address the dynamics of real world job creation. It's goal was always to return money to the richest segment of individuals within society, who are under no obligation to spend it or invest it in a single job-generating activity. Anyone who seriously thought that these cuts would generate new jobs must be still using the same drugs that Dubya did in his party animal days.
