24. apathy is what makes injustice possible
Without apathy, we wouldn't have a war in Iraq, a patriot act, or other unjust policies. To give up and do nothing is in effect the same as actively supporting the Bush administration and the corporate capitalist system. It is they who benefit from our apathy.
