9. I don't think they've posted the raw data in the weekly reports. From what
I can tell, it's alwasy just the percentages, and here they are (from the same link above -- the weekly report at http://www.cdc.gov/flu/weekly/):

Pneumonia and Influenza (P&I) Mortality Surveillance*:
During week 3, 7.7% of all deaths reported by the vital statistics offices of 122 U.S. cities were attributed to pneumonia or influenza. This percentage is below the epidemic threshold of 8.1% for week 3.


I don't know how you can on the one hand claim that the CDC site proves that there's a terrible epidemic, but then say that they're hiding the truth? If their stats aren't accurate, then why are you citing them in the first place?

I'll be the first to criticize Bush when these stats show an epidemic. But so far, it looks like things are better than average over the last couple years (which is probably dumb luck, so far).
