12. Well, I tried to listen
But it was during the Kerry campaign, and I couldn't share the forced enthusiasm beyond ABB. It seemed obvious to me that the issues were compromised by Kerry's positions on the issues. They were suppressed in the same way reality was suppressed at the Democratic convention. The Democrats tried to paint Allawi as a good and decent guy and I heard Franken echo those talking points with a slightly sheepish tone in his voice. The subject never came up again but that was the final straw for me. It ain't no "Democracy Now".
