or it was a preview version. and let me assure you-the flakiest FireFox install comes nowhere near the heartache and bullshit IE can cause.

If you try FF again, and you have probs-Uninstall and reinstall. Very quick and easy.
OR you may want to look at the Avant Brower, which runs off of IE, but is way more secure, has tabbed browsing, flash and pop-up suppression, etc: http://www.avantbrowser.com/
