43. DONE!
I have skimmed the "book" in question, and saw more than what was necessary. Here's my review!
--------------------------------------------------------------------
This is quite possibly the worst book ever. It is fraught with inaccuracies and outright fabrication. Enough is enough already. The slander and smear of this decorated war hero for political gain is an embarrassment to any American who takes pride in his or her country, and a slap in the face to any and all soldiers and veterans.
If any one knows the first thing about the history of the author (and I use this term loosely) John O'Neill, they'd be aware that he is a corrupt lackey hired by the Nixon administration to systematically smear and discredit Kerry in retaliation for politically opposing Nixon. He was handpicked by the administration, because there was no level he wouldn't stoop to. O'Neill, subsequently, did not serve in Vietnam until after Kerry left, so any claims he may make attempting to discredit Kerry's service are based on instructions fed to him by Nixon advisors, and no real valid experiences that O'Neill and Kerry had together in Vietnam - there were none. The rivalry between O'Neill and Kerry reached a fever pitch the day they appeared on the Dick Cavett show together for a debate in 1971. O'Neill, armed only with lies spoon-fed to him by Nixon's henchmen, made an utter fool of himself. He could not match wits with the tall, stately, and well spoken Kerry, who, with the truth on his side and a calm demeanor, OWNED O'Neill, who lost his temper on many occasions, and often sounded like an angry little boy fighting a losing battle.

O'Neill never got over it. Though former President Nixon is deceased, and the Vietnam war over, (and American relations with Vietnam greatly restored, thanks to Senator Kerry's diplomatic work with Republican Senator, and former Vietnam POW John McCain)O'Neill will never forget or recover from being bested by Kerry, and the absurdities contained in "Unfit for Command " are a result of O'Neill's sour grapes.

If you want to know the TRUTH about John Kerry, read "Tour of Duty" by Douglas Brinkley. This is a historically accurate book over which Kerry executed no editorial authority whatsoever.

John O'Neill's book is utter drivel written by a jealous manchild who cannot let go. It's sad.

Let's see if that Republican loving Amazon prints this!
