21. video games are more realistic that the sanitized war

of course the TV war that Lieberman and the rest voted to authorize Bush to conduct was sanitized. At least some of the video games show more reality of war, with bodies getting maimed, blown up, shot, as well as all sorts of blood and death.

In the TV war, all this part of reality was not even shown for the most part. They don't show the wounded young soldiers. They don't show the wounded soldiers with loss of limbs, pyshciatric problems, suicidal, etc. They don't show the dead soldier's coffins coming back to the U.S. They don't show the dead soldiers' funerals. They don't interview the dead soldiers' families anymore.

And, that's not even half of it. They don't even show or even care about all the dead innocent Iraqi civilians that were dying under those bombs that were being dropped that provided a fireworks show for viewers and ratings for the networks.

No wonder they want to ban video games. They are more realistic and truthful than what you see on network news and cable.

just leave me doax, outlaw golf and bmx xxx. :)
