about six years ago. He had retired by then and we did a funeral together. Anyhow he said that Bill Clinton didn't really fit the Southern Baptist profile, even thought he attended there. Oddly enough that pastor did say that he felt that Hillary was much more in line with Methodism.
Both Clinton's (& Chelsey too I presume) attended the Methodist church in D.C. when they went.
BTW Both Dick Chaney and GW Bush are members of the same Methodist church in Dallas Texas. The Methodist's are considered pro life and the Methodist Council of Bishops specifically petitioned GW not to go to war with Iraq.
