9. You know what really got my attention??
MSNBC was showing the gathered crowd when I flipped on the "news", said it was live and that they would be monitoring the situation. They kept going back---people were just standing there with their signs, etc. BUT, the point is that literally from day #1 there have been protesters gathered as Bush comes to a community--and not small groups either. But they have been absolutely ignored by the media just like all the ones at his "innaugeration" (only shown on C-Span). Why suddenly was it "cool" to show that people are objecting to him?? In addition in a short time span, they had some dipshit question like: Is it time for other nations to step up in Iraq?? They read responses and ALL of them were blasting Bush. Not one pro-Bush. My God - will it become fashionable to protest Bush from here to '04??? It may be time to really start taking to the streets wherever he appears. Wouldn't it be nice if NYC became Chicago II at the GOP convention????
