Well, maybe not. Truthfully, I am a late sleeper, and I remember that morning I kept hearing the telephone ring. After the 5th time in a row that the phone was ringing off the hook, I tore outta bed like a mad banshee, ready to spew vitriol on the sorry friend that dared to wake me from my slumber. It was my then fiance who was telling me that I needed to turn on the TV because the WTC Towers had been hit, and my first thought was...... you woke me for a bad plane accident?

OH HORRORS!!! - the Chimp and I shared the same reflex. I have tried to purge this from my memory, but to no avail. Of course, after the phone call, I turned on the television and watched the coverage nonstop, but my first reaction was, "what's all the fuss?" OH, sweet brain of mine, how ever could you betray me like this?

I remember classes were cancelled and I didn't have to work that day anyway, so I just watched TV all day and night, and then into the next day, and pretty much for the remainder of the week.
