many r-wingers around me wanting an argment so I still have to say Kal ee-fornia.... You are right about the medals. My husband got several and a bronze star and I am sure it was not for riding up and down the Delta sight seeing or hiking in the jungle. He was with the 101st in 70 and he doesn't remember toomuch but I am sure he didn't get that bronze and M-16 sharpshooter Medal for hunting squirrel. He threw them all away but they are still noted on his DD214. I think if there were any undecided they decided last night.
